1. DEFINITIONS

1.1. Regulations - this document specifying the rules of using the www.cekona.pl website 1.2. CEKONA - a website operating in the domain www.cekona.pl, owned by the CKN company based in Olsztyn, using the REGON number 389431431. Contact details: email biuro@cekona.pl
1.3. User - a person who has registered on the Website on the terms specified in the Regulations;
1.4. Conference - a paid event consisting in the presentation of achievements and reviews of the authors' works of Users and their research teams
1.5. Website - whenever the Regulations refer to the Website, it is synonymous with the website www.cekona.pl
1.6. Login - a unique e-mail address of the User on the Website indicated during registration
1.7. User account - an individual, user-registered electronic account on the website - www.cekona.pl identified by a unique password selected by the user (consisting of at least 4 characters) and a unique, active e-mail account (e-mail), which is also an entry to the databases of users of the website www.cekona.pl

2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

2.1. CEKONA is a website that allows its users (via an online tool) to participate in conferences and scientific meetings, participate in discussion panels and present their original scientific work. 2.2. The www.cekona.pl website charges a fee for participation in each event. The user selects the form of presentation (poster / multimedia presentation), as well as an article in the reviewed post-conference scientific monograph.
2.3. Each person is required to read the Regulations of the Website before using the Website.
2.4. The website allows users to download documents in .docx or .pdf format.
2.5. The Website reserves the right to place advertising content on the Website of the Website regarding goods and services of third parties, in the forms used in the Internet. 2.6. Any errors and problems with the normal functioning of the website, the User undertakes to report via the contact form or at biuro@cekona.pl.
2.7. Each conference and event has its own rules and regulations, which include the current rules of participation in the conferences (including payment requirements and rules).

3. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS

3.1. Using the Website requires meeting the following technical requirements:
a. Internet connection,
b. use of platforms: MS Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Vista, MS Windows XP, iOS 7.0, Android 4.4 or their newer versions,
c. using the following web browsers: Mozilla FireFox 35.X, Google Chrome 40.X or their newer versions.
d. using up-to-date Java, Java Script,
software e. an active e-mail account

4. REGISTRATION

4.1. Registration and creation of an account on the www.cekona.pl website are voluntary and free of charge.
4.2. In order to create a User Account, the User is obliged to register.
4.3. The prerequisites for registering a User account is filling in the registration form, in the appropriate fields of which you must provide:
a. e-mail address that will be used to identify him on the Website (login)
b. access password to the account,
c. accepting the provisions of these Regulations;
d. expressing willingness to receive the newsletter by electronic means (optional)
e. providing the address necessary to send post-conference materials
4.4. Entering a false e-mail address will make it impossible to create an account.
4.5. During registration, the User provides a unique e-mail address, which becomes the login to the website, through which he will be identified in the website www.cekona.pl website.
4.6. During registration, the User creates an individual password to his profile. The only person who knows the password is the User and is responsible for its storage and undertakes not to disclose it to third parties, in particular to persons who could use this password for purposes contrary to the idea of ​​the www.cekona.pl website.
4.7. During registration, the User undertakes to provide his own e-mail address, which will be used for communication between him and the www.cekona.pl website. In particular, new passwords for the User Account will be sent to this e-mail address if the User loses the password to the account on the www.cekona.pl website.
4.8. The www.cekona.pl website does not bear any responsibility for unsuccessful delivery of messages to the e-mail address provided by the User. In particular, when the address is invalid, it belongs to a third party, or anti-spam software is preventing delivery of the email.
4.9. By registering, the User agrees to the processing of his personal data in accordance with the Act of August 29, 1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws No. 133, item 883, as amended) on the terms specified in the Website Privacy Policy, which constitutes an integral part of these Regulations. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the proper performance of the Service.

5. USER ACCOUNT

5.1. Each User of the www.cekona.pl website has an individual User Account identified by a unique e-mail address provided during registration.
5.2. An account created on cekona.pl is created for an unlimited period of time.
5.3. The www.cekona.pl website reserves the right to delete the User Account without giving any reason, in particular in the event of the User breaking these Regulations.
5.4. The user undertakes to publish truthful and personal information only on his account. It is forbidden to create accounts and publish information on behalf of third parties.
5.5. The User may have more than one User Account on the www.cekona.pl website
5.6. The User may at any time delete the account and his data from the Website. Just go to "My Account" and confirm the permanent removal of the account from the Website. Independent deletion of the account from the website means that the same e-mail cannot be re-registered on the website www.cekona.pl
5.7. It is forbidden to make the User Account available to third parties.
5.8. It is forbidden to use the User Account for commercial purposes beyond the normal use in accordance with the nature of the website.

6. USING THE WEBSITE

6.1. The User is entitled to use the resources of the Website only for his own use. It is not allowed to use the resources and functions of the Website for the purpose of conducting commercial activities by the User or activities that would infringe the interests of the Service Provider, i.e .:
a. Any attempts to affect the stability of the website operation are forbidden.
b. Any criminal activities, in particular hacking activities, are prohibited.
c. Any activities violating economic copyrights are forbidden.
d. It is forbidden to publish untrue information as part of User Accounts.
e. It is forbidden to publish information about third parties without proper authorization.
f. Any activities that may destabilize the operation of ICT networks, in particular the operation of the www.cekona.pl website, are prohibited.
e. It is forbidden to publish content that is inconsistent with the law, in particular pornographic content, content that promotes violence and breaks generally accepted customs.

7. RESPONSIBILITY

7.1. For technical reasons, such as, for example, a power outage, a break in access to the IT network, a computer system failure, software errors or system maintenance interruptions - access to the website may be temporarily suspended without prior notice. 7.2. The operation of the global Internet network depends on the services of many entities. www.cekona.pl has no influence on the operation and availability of the Internet.
7.3. The user of the website wwww.cekona.pl undertakes not to bind the company that owns the Website in any litigation and financial disputes to which the Website is not a party.
7.4. The cekona.pl website is not responsible for any losses resulting from the correct or faulty operation of the website, in particular for interruptions in its operation. 7.5. The company owning the Website undertakes to cooperate with authorized state authorities as a result of actions against the User as a result of a crime committed by him or a suspected crime.


8. FORMS OF PAYMENT

8.1. In the case of paid Services provided by cekona.pl in connection with enabling the use of certain functionalities of the Website, all fees are charged to the User. The fees are published on the website www.cekona.pl in the calculator. After selecting the participation option, the price appears.
8.2. The website offers the following payment methods:
a. bank transfer to the account provided when choosing the conference
8.3. The website does not charge additional fees for transactions made in connection with the contract concluded between the Service Provider and the owners of payment services
8.4. After receiving information about the successful completion of the payment, the User gains access to the website, in accordance with the selected options.

9. PRICES

9.1. The detailed price list is different for each conference. The price for participation depends on the choice of the form of presentation and the number of chapters for a scientific monograph. The price appears when registering for the conference and after selecting the options appropriate for the User.
9.2. The prices on the website are gross prices for users.
9.3. The website reserves the right to make changes to the prices of the services provided on an ongoing basis.
9.4. The use of the full functionality of the Website is possible only for users who have paid for participation in the conference.
9.5. The payment is not refunded if the User does not resign from participation in the conference or resign from publication at least 10 days in advance of the given event.

10. COMPLAINT

10.1. The User may submit a complaint to the Service Provider in connection with the use of services provided electronically by the Service Provider. The complaint should be submitted in electronic form and sent to the Service Provider's e-mail address. In the complaint, the User should include his name, surname, e-mail address provided during registration and a description of the problem. The Service Provider shall immediately, but not later than within 14 (fourteen) working days, consider the complaint and reply to the User's e-mail address provided in the complaint. 10.2. If the data or information provided in the complaint need to be supplemented, after receiving the complaint and before considering it, the Website will ask the person submitting the complaint to supplement it in the indicated scope. 10.3. The day of submitting a complaint is the day the cekona.pl website collects the complaint in the correct form, containing all the required elements and not requiring supplementation. 10.4. Complaints regarding the services provided should be sent to the e-mail address biuro@cekona.pl in the title of the message by entering "Complaint"
10.6. A response to the complaint, after its consideration by cekona.pl, is sent to the contact e-mail address of the User provided by him in the form, provided by the User during Registration.

11. NEWSLETTER

11.1. Subscribing to the newsletter is optional.
11.2. The newsletter is sent to the e-mail address registered by the Customer, it contains information related to the current activities of the Service Provider (including information about new services, news, articles). 11.3. Receiving the newsletter is free of charge, it is sent electronically in the form of an e-mail.
11.4. In order to enable the Service Provider to deliver the newsletter, it is necessary for the Customer to consent to receiving the newsletter electronically by checking the appropriate box in the registration form. 11.5. A registered customer may at any time change the address to which the newsletter is sent or resign from receiving it by completing the appropriate form. You can unsubscribe from the "Newsletter" service at any time after logging in to your account on the cekona.pl website and unchecking the ticbox with the text "I agree to receive the newsletter"

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

12.1. By adding own work in the form of a presentation, poster, abstract or article, the user transfers the right to distribute these works by the owners of the cekona.pl website for publishing and advertising purposes.

13. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT / TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT

13.1. The user is not entitled to a refund for the unused time of the paid conference.
13.2. Fees for participation in conferences and chapters in the monograph are not refunded if the User did not deliver the works despite the prior obligation.
13.3. Partial reimbursement may be made via a coupon reducing the price for the next conference, if desired by the User.

14. GOVERNING NOTES

14.1. In matters not covered by these Regulations, the provisions of Polish law shall apply

15. CHANGE OF THE REGULATIONS


15.1. The cekona.pl website reserves the right to amend these Regulations without giving a reason for the change. The User undertakes to follow the changes to these Regulations, in the event of non-acceptance of the changes to these Regulations, he undertakes to stop using the services provided through the website and delete the User Account.
15.2. In the event of changes to the Regulations, the website will inform Users about it by publishing a uniform text of the Regulations at http://www.cekona.pl/pl/regulamin and by indicating the date of the last update at the end of the Regulations.

16. FINAL PROVISIONS


16.1. The cekona.pl website reserves the right to freely modify the functionality of the website and to change the rules of operation, in particular to cease operations. As a result of such actions, Users are not entitled to any claims against the company that owns www.cekona.pl
16.2. Any disputes between the Company that owns the cekona.pl website and another entity will be settled by the court competent for the seat of the CKN Company.
